What is a QR (quick response) Code?

Well, they look a bit like this (see image above) and they also come in different colours and styles, it's basically a barcode that has a piece of hidden code behind it that can link to digital content such as websites, images, PDFs, video clips or whatever you choose. The image is scanned using a QR Code scanner (that can be downloaded directly to your mobile phone) on your smartphone.
